About Defpoints:
A couple weeks ago I had to help a coworker who had this problem. It took me longer than it should have to figure out the issue was with the X-refs being on the same non-plotting layer as the viewports. –Joker

There seems to be a lot of whining in these panels.. Just saying…
yes, mr. Burns and that is why it is funny… anyway, the first thing I mention when someone asks me for help on why their dwg is not printing is to check the layer their x-refs are on. So simple and yet such a common occurance.
Who was the guy who decided to call that layer “defpoints” anyway? What does that even mean? Why not call it “the layer that won’t plot”, at least that makes sense!
These comics were a lot more amusing without the back-story, as most of the people who read them are in the profession and already get it.
