Now you need to do the follow up where the boss asks her to find an article from that 1998 issue. I totally agree that the bosses aren’t reading those magazines anymore, but I had a boss with an incredible memory for things she saw in old magazines and would make me dig through the piles to find them! Annoying.
1998 wasn’t too long ago for magazine archives. Maybe I would have understood the comic more if the magazine was from 1968: a time where formica and shag carpet was high-end.
Ha ha, I’ve done this through two offices and both times I browsed through the old architecture mags from the mid 80′s. Those old computer and cad advertisements are really funny to read today!
