While your strip does have the ring of truth, I take issue with the fact that it’s unfailingly negative. If the idea is to reflect the work life of the typical firm member (I’m a successful self employed sole practitioner for the past 25 years), yes, there’s a lot of frustration, but there are also a lot of fulfilling experiences. Don’t you think?

at least you actually DO some design at work.
    I’d be happy a little.

You think that’s a waste of time? Wait until you have to put those design options into design options in your revit model!

Problem is identifying the type of boss you work for. If he values your input you’re set. Unfortunately Architecture seems to attract a lot of egomaniacs and sociopaths.
