Archdaily is the bane of my existence. Taunting me every day with projects with “budgets” and programs that allow “design”…

I did not even know about Archdaily until just a few months ago. Why? Well, it really did not make much of an impact as it appears to move in circles very remote from everyday architecture. Sort of like when you ask an highly acclaimed actor whom it is they watch for inspiration and they will tell you who got them going but now that they are proven in the profession they commonly do not reference others…their work stands on its own.

Note: An atypical crazy high “budget” is not really a budget rather an invitation to be wasteful, garish, or egotistic.

I’ve stopped reading Archdaily and Houzz. They’re as depressing as looking at pictures of hot women. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy out of my league.
